SPRING IN-HOUSE PROGRAM

PROPOSED SPRING 2009 SCHEDULE

Registration for the Spring 2009 Session will OPEN February 7th

The Spring Program is Scheduled to commence on April 18th.

PRE - KINDERGARTEN  ------ 11:30 AM TO 12:30 PM  ---------  CISQUA

KINDERGARTEN  ------------    1:00 PM TO   2:00 PM  ---------  CISQUA

1ST GRADE COED  -------------  11:30 AM TO  1:00 PM  ----------  BVMP

2ND GRADE COED    -------    11:30 PM TO 1:00 PM    ---  WEST PATENT

3RD GRADE COED     -----  1:30 PM TO 3:00 PM   -----  WEST PATENT

4TH GRADE & UP COED  ------------ 1:30 PM TO  3:00 PM  -------   BVMP

 

Pre-Travel

Wednesdays - 2nd and 3rd COED      4:00 to 5:30 PM at Bedford Village Park

Saturdays - 2nd Grade COED             11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at WPES

Saturdays - 3rd Grade COED                     1:30 to 3:00 PM at WPES

 

 

 

This Schedule has been created based upon field availability and coordination with other Local Athletic Programs - Baseball - Softball and Lacrosse.

 

IN-HOUSE PLUS will not be conducted this Spring due to Scheduling and Field conflicts

 

The schedule and venues are subject to change based upon field availability and Registration.

THE WINTER 2009 INDOOR PROGRAM

The Indoor Program will be conducted at the Fox Lane Middle School Gymnasium.  The Program will be conducted on Sundays starting in January and will continue until March 8th.  The Program will run between the Hours of 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  The Program is open to ALL BYSC In-House and Travel players - boys and girls currently in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First, Second and Third Grades.

Children will be assigned to a time slot based upon Pre-Registration Applications - Generally:

Pre-Kindergarten  11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

Kindergarten 12:00 Noon  to 1:00 PM

First Grade 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Second and Third Grades 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Bedford Youth Soccer Club began in 1972 as an organization committed to instructing children of all abilities in the sport of soccer in and around the Town of Bedford. The primary goal of The Club is to instill a love and knowledge of soccer. We strive to create a fun environment where our children have the opportunity to develop skills, learn sportsmanship and engage in healthful competition. It is an organization led and managed by parent volunteers according to the BYSC by-laws. Coaching is carried out by both parent volunteers and professional coaches. BYSC is a member of the Westchester Youth Soccer League.

The Club is organized into TWO Programs: In-House and Travel:

The In-House Program is for children of all skill levels beginning at age 4 (Pre-K) and continuing through middle school age. Teams are set up based on school grade. In-House soccer teams are Coed or Girls-only depending on turnout. Registration for the In-House Season is OPEN in January through April for the SPRING Season and OPEN in April through June for the Fall Season.

The BYSC Pre-Travel Program was established during the Fall 2007 Season. The chief purpose of the Program is to offer a unique training opportunity and competitive format for those young boys and girls interested in the Travel Soccer Program.

The Travel Program is organized into teams and provides a more competitive level of soccer for the committed, skilled player. Tryouts for these teams are held each year in May for the following soccer season. Children try out for teams and are put onto teams of appropriate age and skill level should the child be selected. Travel teams are organized by age and begin at Under 9 and continue through Under 19.  The Travel Program includes both Fall and Spring.

The Club, through its active volunteer participation at all levels, promotes community involvement. The success of the program lies with its volunteers. FINAL FALL 2008 IN-HOUSE SCHEDULE

 

The In-House Program will NOT be conducted on Saturday, October 11th - Columbus Day Weekend.

The Final In-House Training Session will be conducted on Saturday, November 15th -  Trophies will be distributed.

 

 

Pre-Kindergarten  9:30 - 10:30 @ Cisqua 

Kindergarten     11:00 - 12:00 @ Cisqua

1st Grade Coed   11:15 - 12:45 @ BVMP   

2nd Grade Coed    9:00 - 10:30 @ WPES

3rd Grade Coed   11:00 - 12:30 @ WPES

4th/Older Girls   1:00 - 2:30 @  WPES   

4th/Older Coed    1:00 -  2:30 @ BVMP

2nd & 3rd Grade COED Pre-Travel  9:30 - 11:00 @ BVMP

2nd and 3rd Grade Pre-Travel Midweek Training will be on Wednesdays - 5:30 to 7:00 PM @ BVMP.

The last Pre-Travel Training Session will be conducted on Saturday, November 15th.

 N-HOUSE PLUS:  In-House Plus is a midweek training session run by BYSC Trainers for 1st / 2nd and 3rd Grade Boys and Girls. It is designed to work alongside the In-House Program for those players interested in additional soccer training.   The Program will be held on Wednesdays - 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Bedford Village Memorial Park.
